The role
Formulate clear optimization-based or graph ML problems from materials and pharmaceutical challenges in collaboration with stakeholders.
Design and manage data pipelines to gather, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from experiments and chemical databases.
Develop predictive models and advanced deep learning frameworks (GNNs, Transformers) for motif discovery and property prediction in material/molecular design.
Apply Generative AI and large language models to automate knowledge discovery and explore new formulations and synthesis routes.
Define KPIs and contribute to a Virtual Lab environment to ensure robust, impactful model performance.
Publish and collaborate with chemists, materials scientists, and engineers to translate breakthroughs into production-ready solutions.
