The role
Senior Backend Engineer focused on IDE AI experiences and LLM-driven developer tooling.
Build prompts, evals, and agent tooling within the MCP server and productionize them for IDE integration.
Design and ship innovative UI concepts in Cursor and VSCode extensions that pair with AI features.
Prototype, test, and iterate with real users, staying current on LLM prompt optimization and code editing research.
Collaborate across teams to enable tooling for production debugging experiences, including one-click repro.
Deliver scalable, high-performance systems and pragmatic solutions that boost developers' productivity.
