The role
An electrical maintenance engineer is responsible for servicing and maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role involves fault diagnosis, repairs, and continuous improvement tasks, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Candidates should possess recognised electrical qualifications such as 17th or 18th Edition and have experience in industrial or automation environments. Skills in maintenance programmes, communication, organisation, and teamwork are essential, along with self-motivation and initiative. Specific training and remote OEM support are provided to ensure technical competence. The position offers a 42-hour week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 12-hour days, supporting a large-scale manufacturing operation.
