The role
Seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead systems engineering for new product development and sustaining activities in laser-based medical devices.
Design analog and digital circuits, create schematics and PCB layouts, and manage BOMs using Cadence OrCAD, Altium Designer, or PADS.
Perform hardware validation, debugging, and board bring-up; develop wireless systems (BLE, RF4CE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi) and embedded interfaces (I2C, I2S, SPI, UART).
Program and test 8-bit and ARM-based microcontrollers; operate lab equipment for testing and troubleshooting; document design specs and validation protocols.
Ensure compliance with FDA and medical device regulatory standards; work with high-voltage power supplies and diode laser driver designs.
This role requires a self-starter mindset, independent work, and up to 10% travel to the Corona location or for team meetings.
