The role
Design and develop conceptual layouts, one-line diagrams, and Issue For Construction packages for grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Evaluate energy storage technologies, support vendor selection, and assist clients with integration and use-case deployment.
Create detailed electrical engineering designs for BESS, including specifications, cost estimates, and construction documentation across milestones.
Coordinate with civil, structural, fire & life safety, high-voltage electrical, SCADA/telecommunications, and geotechnical teams to deliver complete packages.
Prepare technical reports, participate in design reviews, and support procurement, RFIs, and construction-phase activities.
Mentor junior staff, contribute to internal design guidelines, and engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to advance projects.
