The role
Lead process engineering support for a chemical manufacturing plant with emphasis on managing pressure-relieving device systems.
Prepare and review PFDs and P&IDs and perform hydraulic calculations for site operations and FEED projects.
Conduct relief calculations and review scenarios for pressure and vacuum relief systems and validate data sheets.
Develop FEED packages and propose changes to process equipment, instrumentation, and relieving device data sheets.
Optimize production processes, perform heat and material balances, and apply chemical engineering fundamentals to improve safety, reliability, and profitability.
Collaborate with HSSE, quality teams, and site stakeholders, while reporting progress to the Process Engineering Manager.
