The role
An Estimator is needed in Alfreton for a growing manufacturing business in the construction sector. The role involves reviewing customer enquiries, interpreting technical drawings, preparing quotations and calculating costs for materials, labour and delivery. The candidate will liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate estimating and project feasibility. Skills required include strong CAD knowledge, numeracy, attention to detail and commercial awareness. The position demands managing multiple enquiries, maintaining records and contributing to process improvements. Candidates with experience in cast stone, precast concrete, masonry, or similar industries, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, are preferred.
