The role
A qualified Solar PV & Battery Storage Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV and battery storage systems, as well as ventilation components, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves conducting electrical installations, self-certifying work, and maintaining accurate documentation, all within a safety-focused environment. Knowledge of MCS standards, BS 7671 regulations, and experience with domestic ventilation is essential. The electrician must hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition certification, and be registered with NICEIC or NAPIT with documentation to certify minor works. Proven experience in solar and battery system installation, along with a full UK driving licence, is required. The position offers long-term stability, ongoing training, and regional support for professionals passionate about renewable energy.
