The role
A dental practice in Bournemouth, Dorset, is seeking a locum dentist to work on a part-time basis, specifically on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The role is suitable for an NHS-registered dentist with an active NHS Performer Number and an enhanced DBS certificate. The practice runs 7 surgeries equipped with SOE software, digital X-rays, rotary endodontics, and an apex locator, supported by a stable dental team including dental hygienists or therapists. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver approximately 30 UDAs per day on an established NHS patient list, with a daily rate of £525. This self-employed position begins around August or September 2026 and continues until further notice, offering the potential for ongoing flexible work.
