The role
Provide legal and regulatory guidance to ensure auto and property and casualty insurance operations comply with applicable laws across all jurisdictions.
Perform in-depth legal research on state and federal insurance regulations, privacy, and data security.
Draft, review, and manage insurance policies and forms; advise product, underwriting, and other teams on risk and compliance.
Monitor industry trends, lead regulatory filings, audits, and market conduct reviews, and prepare risk assessments.
Represent the organization in meetings and hearings with regulators and other external stakeholders; maintain strong regulatory relationships.
Collaborate cross-functionally, prioritize multiple initiatives, demonstrate sound judgment, and operate in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment; travel as required.
