The role
A senior process engineer specialising in lithography is responsible for developing, optimising and maintaining photolithography and e-beam lithography processes in a semiconductor fabrication environment. They support process development, yield improvement, defect reduction, and process capability enhancements, working closely with cross-functional teams. The role involves data analysis using SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, and statistical techniques, alongside process qualification and equipment cross-qualification. Candidates should have a background in engineering or related fields, with experience in photolithography, semiconductor processes, and high-technology manufacturing settings. Knowledge of MES and photonic integrated circuits is advantageous, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
