The role
A senior back end developer is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient systems, utilising programming languages such as Python, Golang, and Typescript, within an innovative environment. The role involves developing high-performance APIs and managing critical integration services to support real-time analytics and data-driven decision making. The candidate should possess expertise in API integration, database management, and distributed architectures and experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is desirable. They will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure code quality through documentation and testing. Knowledge of AI engineering, event-driven architectures, and observability tools will be advantageous, contributing to platform evolution and organisational efficiency.
