The role
Lead the design and operation of the Gradient AI platform, delivering a simple agent development experience with scalable, low-latency performance.
Architect and evolve the end-to-end agent development workflow, including code integration, evaluations, observability, and cross-agent interactions.
Set and enforce technical standards, best practices, testing, instrumentation, and performance tuning across AI/ML teams.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable roadmaps, guiding customer-facing teams.
Drive reliability and operations excellence with capacity planning, disaster recovery, and AI-driven automation (IaC, CI/CD, deployments, monitoring).
Mentor engineers, shape engineering culture around architectural rigor, and pioneer internal tooling and agent paradigms to improve efficiency.
