The role
A position for a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology is available within NHS Ayrshire & Arran in Forth Valley, combining clinical duties at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Stirling Community Hospital. The role involves providing and evolving comprehensive dermatological services within a team of five full-time equivalent consultants and supporting a regional healthcare network. Candidates should possess broad dermatology training and be registered with the GMC, with a minimum of four years' post-registration experience, including two in dermatology at specialist trainee level or equivalent. An emphasis is placed on recent professional and academic development, alongside strong communication and organisational skills. The post offers a full-time 1 WTE contract, with responsibilities spanning acute, emergency, complex, and planned services for a population of approximately 310,000 in Central Scotland.
