The role
A mobile app developer is responsible for creating and maintaining applications using Flutter or Xamarin that connect to BLE devices, handling device discovery, connection, and data transfer. They must implement local data storage solutions such as SQLite or Hive and develop mechanisms for efficient data synchronisation with cloud services, ensuring secure communication. The role involves profiling and optimising app performance for continuous data streaming, managing memory and CPU usage effectively. Collaboration with backend developers and documentation of code, APIs, and BLE processes are essential. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in cross-platform development, BLE communication, local data solutions, APIs, Node.js, and Azure, alongside troubleshooting capabilities. Soft skills include analytical thinking, effective communication, thorough documentation, and a proactive approach to quality solutions.
