The role
Design, develop, and test the foundational software architecture for high-level experimental orchestration, translating scientific intent into machine-executable programs across diverse robotic lab hardware.
Build robust, low-latency services and APIs to deploy trained ML models for real-time control within physical lab environments.
Collaborate with scientists and engineers to define data requirements and ensure multimodal data and metadata support ML readiness.
Partner with ML scientists, product managers, and domain experts to understand user needs and select optimal model integration and control architectures.
Advance MLOps pipelines and infrastructure, serving as a technical liaison with central teams for scaling, support, and resource provisioning.
Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and development processes to ensure scalable, maintainable systems across the automation landscape.
