The role

Lead the design and development of advanced robotic arms and grippers, selecting gears, bearings, encoders, motors, clutches, brakes, and PCB components to optimize performance.
Apply engineering fundamentals and FEA to analyze root causes, drive enhancements, and optimize mass, stiffness, and thermal behavior.
Create manufacturable designs with GD&T-driven drawings and tight tolerance management to balance performance and cost.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams on assembly planning, wiring, and cost/performance optimization.
Support R&D through literature review, rapid prototyping, testing plans, and data‑driven improvements.
Own documentation, BOM management, change control, and manufacturing feedback to ensure quality and scalable production.
