The role
Collaborate to brainstorm and evaluate mechanical design solutions, translating concepts into fabrication-ready designs.
Create and revise detailed drawings, layouts, and design documentation using CAD software.
Develop fabrication instructions, installation guides, and end-user/maintenance operation procedures.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, manufacturability, and installation requirements.
Support troubleshooting and design improvements during fabrication and field installation while maintaining engineering records and revision control.
Contribute to projects from concept through implementation in a fast-paced, hands-on internship.
