The role
A senior network engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures across multiple locations, utilising automation and exploring AI/ML opportunities to enhance operations. The role involves collaborating on data centre initiatives, optimisation of WAN routing, and developing innovative network capabilities while ensuring high standards of performance and reliability. Candidates will troubleshoot, document procedures, and lead infrastructure improvements within a multi-vendor environment. Technical skills include routing protocols, troubleshooting transport protocols, Linux, and programming languages, with exposure to overlay networks being advantageous. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for engaging with diverse global stakeholders and sharing technical expertise effectively.
