The role

The senior network engineer at Opensity solutions is responsible for designing and deploying scalable, secure network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN technologies. They evaluate existing systems to identify optimisation opportunities and develop strategies to improve reliability and scalability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams for project planning, configuration, and deployment of network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls while ensuring security policies are enforced. They monitor network performance, develop capacity plans, and conduct security audits to identify vulnerabilities. Incident response, disaster recovery documentation, and vendor relationship management are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in enterprise networking, relevant certifications, and strong collaborative skills.
