The role
Lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and maintenance of the AI platform and model integrations in production, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
Build and operate data ingestion pipelines, training tooling, evaluation frameworks, and GPU infrastructure to support scalable, low-latency inference.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Research Engineers, and AI Researchers to translate research into reliable, scalable product infrastructure.
Optimize models and algorithms for efficient inference, and monitor deployments with strong emphasis on reliability and observability.
Consult other engineering teams on AI model integrations and promote best practices in DevOps and MLOps.
Bring hands-on expertise in Python/C/C++, CUDA, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and cloud/container tooling (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) along with GPU profiling and distributed training.
