Healthcare Support Worker (Nuclear Medicine)
Join a multidisciplinary team in the Nuclear Medicine department to support diagnostic and therapeutic services. Assist with patient handling during injections and preparation for scans, helping patients onto and off scanning beds. Perform non-clinical duties to aid the smooth running of the department, including refreshments, transport, and general housekeeping. Support radiation protection and contamination monitoring, decontamination, waste management, and maintaining safe clinical environments. Prepare equipment and test kits for procedures, and assist with basic laboratory tasks and data recording. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with clear communication, and be flexible to weekend/evening shifts as required.
