The role
Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for projects ranging from simple to complex, integrating sustainability and energy efficiency.
Lead feasibility studies, master planning, and mechanical system design including co-generation and renewable energy solutions.
Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.
Conduct site reviews to align designs with location specifics and update requirements as needed.
Share knowledge by developing technical documentation and white papers; contribute to journals when possible.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers; collaborate cross-functionally and participate in conferences, with occasional travel and hybrid work options.
