The role
Musician - Keyboard/Cantor (Liturgical Musician)
- 10-15 hours/week, part-time, flexible schedule
- Non-exempt
- St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Casa Grande, AZ
- Lead assembly in chanting and singing, providing keyboard accompaniment for liturgical services, including Masses, funerals, and weddings
- Proficient pianist, organist skills a plus; strong sight-reading and improvisation ability
- Collaborate with liturgy/music director, pastor, and other musicians; maintain respectful environment
- Communicate effectively, respond to correspondence, and maintain open communication with volunteers and staff
- Meet physical demands of keyboard playing, walking, and standing; ability to lift and move equipment
- Possess strong commitment to Catholic mission, be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; ability to pass background check
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus; clean, professional appearance required.
