The role
Implement and analyze research experiments, from toy scenarios to large-scale models.
Set up and optimize research workflows to run efficiently and reliably at scale.
Build tools and abstractions that accelerate experimentation and enable rapid iteration.
Develop and improve infrastructure to support other teams in applying interpretability work to improve model safety.
Bring 5-10+ years of software experience and proficiency in Python (or other languages), with experience contributing to empirical AI research.
You thrive in fast-moving, collaborative projects, can handle ambiguity, and care about the societal impacts of AI.
