The role
An Industrial Engineer in this role leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers within the Trim and Final area, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. They focus on lean process planning, implementing improvements for cost reduction and waste elimination, and conducting value stream mapping to optimise efficiency. The role includes ergonomic studies, process enhancement, and cycle time reduction to improve productivity and safety. Candidates will perform time studies, capacity planning, and feasibility analyses to support new products and process improvements, ensuring compliance with safety standards. They will harness CAD tools to design workstations and flow paths, apply lean and quality principles, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet quality and timeline expectations.
