The role
The role involves providing technical escalation support for service tickets, assisting NHS end users onsite and remotely, and managing support requests efficiently. Candidates are expected to configure and maintain desktops and peripherals, perform preventative maintenance, and manage access via Active Directory and Office365. Travelling between NHS sites may be required to support end users. The position requires experience in Windows Desktop OS, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server & Desktop, and SQL Server. Certification in Microsoft 365 or Azure at Fundamentals level is desirable, with previous Microsoft certifications considered an advantage. The role demands excellent communication skills, ability to handle changing priorities, and teamwork to resolve technical issues within service level agreements.
