The role
Own the full lifecycle of electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems for a nuclear reactor, from napkin sketch to first-of-kind build and commissioning.
Drive embedded hardware and firmware architecture, select microcontrollers, design custom PCBs, and define hardware/software interfaces.
Design control systems for reactor and balance-of-plant components, including sensors, actuators, signal conditioning, and PLC/DCS hardware.
Lead hands-on electrical builds on the shop floor—wire panels, assemble racks, terminate instrumentation loops, and collaborate with technicians.
Define production processes, build procedures, and quality standards; maintain electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules, and panel layouts.
Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and nuclear engineering teams to integrate electrical systems, manage BOMs and suppliers, and drive manufacturing scale and schedules.
