The role
This is a founding iOS role focused on building AI-powered mobile experiences that balance UX with AI latency, streaming, and failure modes.
Own iOS architecture and shipping features end-to-end, from UI to on-device or backend-driven AI interactions.
Design and implement camera, microphone, and media pipelines with robust UX for loading, streaming, and retries.
Optimize performance, memory, and battery while maintaining high App Store quality and production stability.
Collaborate with backend and AI teams on API design and serve as a bridge between intelligence and human interaction.
Iterate quickly in production, embrace ownership, and contribute to engineering standards from zero.
