The role
Lead and perform mechanical engineering support for capital and maintenance projects with safety as a core value.
Develop preliminary and authorization-level studies, including scope development and capital cost estimates.
Manage projects to meet budgets and schedules, coordinating maintenance and construction activities to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot machinery issues, transfer knowledge to maintenance crews, and conduct root cause failure analyses.
Supervise mechanical crews as needed and lead safety programs and initiatives across activities.
Be flexible with extended hours, on-call emergencies, and physical requirements while communicating effectively at all levels.
