The role
Design and evaluate mechanical systems for MEP, HVAC, and fire suppression to meet project goals and applicable codes.
Develop outline and detailed designs, create CAD drawings and models, and fabricate prototypes for testing and validation.
Perform inspections, document deficiencies, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement improvements.
Analyze test data, run experiments, and iterate designs to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
Coordinate resources with project managers, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with NYC/NY state standards and OSHA requirements.
Requires NY Professional Engineer licensure and strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
