The role
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Drupal 10/11 backends and PHP services.
Build and extend custom Drupal modules, hooks, plugins, and configuration management following best practices.
Create RESTful APIs to enable headless Drupal implementations with Next.js frontends and integrations.
Tune performance by optimizing database queries, caching layers (Redis/Varnish), and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
Implement secure coding practices and maintain dependencies, while collaborating across frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
Contribute to CI/CD workflows, participate in code reviews, and document architecture decisions.
