The role
Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure (with exposure to GCP and OCI) to support production and staging environments.
Respond to incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and implement improvements for high availability and reliability.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates; automate repetitive tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Enforce security and compliance through IAM, encryption, least-privilege access, and regular vulnerability remediation.
Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies; participate in on-call rotations and change management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and optimize costs and performance through monitoring and tuning.
