The role
The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing strategies, tender management, and supplier negotiations, within a regulated environment. The individual will provide leadership on procurement projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and governance standards, and delivering cost efficiencies across projects. Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, managing tender processes, drafting and negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance, all while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong commercial acumen, experience with NEC and JCT contracts, and stakeholder engagement skills. Technical expertise should include procurement systems, risk management, and contract flow-down knowledge. The role also involves mentoring junior professionals and supporting process improvement initiatives.
