The role
Perform a range of civil engineering duties supporting permitting and operations within a highway maintenance district.
Review utility, excavation, and access permit applications and inspect projects for regulatory compliance.
Develop and coordinate annual resurfacing programs in partnership with district staff and other bureaus.
Manage materials, equipment, and data, respond to emergencies, and support the Sponsor-A-Highway program.
Lead or assist on complex projects; pursue in-band or broad-group advancement, requiring FE exam and related experience.
Requires relevant degrees, state travel, and a valid driver's license with strong public relations and safety emphasis.
