The role
A Network Engineer specialising in Cisco technologies is required to support and develop a complex, high-availability network environment. The role involves operational support and project delivery across data centres, on-premises infrastructure, and cloud services, with a focus on maintaining connectivity for essential services. The successful candidate will utilise skills across a wide range of network technologies, including Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, Firepower, and wireless infrastructure, alongside VPNs and Microsoft 365. They must possess strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, and clear communication abilities for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position offers a career opportunity within an extensive, varied technical environment directly underpinning vital public services and will require travel across the region. Training will be provided to address specific skills gaps, and the role is primarily based in Bradford with some travel.
