The role
A school cook assists the Catering Manager by preparing, cooking, and packing food, and operating a till. The role includes setting up and clearing dining areas and undertaking cleaning duties. Candidates should enjoy working as part of a team, possess a flexible approach, and be comfortable working with both adults and children. An enhanced DBS check is required before employment begins. The role demands good organisation skills, the ability to follow safety standards, and be efficient in a busy environment. Experience in food preparation and familiarity with cleaning procedures are desirable. The position is subject to safeguarding policies and right to work verification.
