The role
Develop and sustain an independent, externally funded research program leveraging AI, genomics, and advanced analytics to improve patient outcomes.
Apply AI/ML to large-scale medical datasets, including EHR, imaging, genomics, and clinical trials, to generate actionable insights.
Design algorithms and predictive models to advance diagnostics, healthcare access, devices, and translational discoveries.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty, biomedical researchers, and clinicians to drive translational research and health equity.
Teach and develop curricula in AI, bioinformatics, and biomedical data science while mentoring students and junior investigators.
Lead and contribute to grant writing and research proposals, including NIH-funded initiatives, to grow an impactful research program.
