The role
A Water Hygiene Plumber is responsible for performing planned plumbing and maintenance works on water systems across various properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards like ACOP L8 and HSG 274. Tasks include refurbishing water storage tanks, replacing hot water cylinders, and maintaining water systems to prevent Legionella, with the work often demanding adherence to Water Regulations. Candidates must possess a full UK driving licence and relevant technical qualifications, actively supporting water hygiene management and compliance. The role involves liaising with clients, maintaining accurate onsite records, and working flexibly within a designated schedule, including some overtime and weekend hours. Personal qualities such as professionalism, good communication, and a strong work ethic are essential, along with the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently.
