The role
Develop and manage 3D CAD models and assemblies from concept to release for new products.
Create detailed components and assembly drawings with proper dimensioning, tolerancing, and BOMs.
Apply design-for-manufacturing principles for machined, molded, and fabricated parts and perform GD&T and tolerance analyses.
Support prototyping, testing, validation, and engineering changes; mentor junior designers as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to ensure robust, timely deliveries.
Requires extensive experience with CAD tools, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple design tasks in a fast-paced environment.
