The role
A Network Engineer is responsible for configuring and supporting Cisco routers and switches according to network design documents. They manage the onboarding of devices onto network management platforms and organise rack and stack operations in Data Centres. The role involves supporting network implementation projects and working with Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN systems, including switching and IP addressing. Candidates should possess strong Cisco networking experience with specific hardware such as Nexus, ISR, ASR, and 3850 models. They are expected to have managed data-networking environments, hold active and transferable SC Clearance, and be willing to travel 20–30% with availability for out-of-hours support. Technical skills in Cisco environments, project execution, and customer support are essential for success in this position.
