The role
The Overlap seeks a talented Editor to join its Manchester-based team. The role involves fast-turnaround editing of videos, clips, and studio inserts, working within tight deadlines to produce engaging sports content. Candidates will collaborate with producers and digital teams, interpreting creative briefs and selecting footage to craft compelling narratives. The position also requires managing content workflows, reviewing final exports for broadcast standards, and ensuring technical quality control for YouTube and other platforms. Essential skills include proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong passion for football and sports broadcasting. Flexibility with working hours is necessary to accommodate occasional late finishes, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
