The role
Serve as a Staff Electrical Engineer focused on Battery Management System (BMS) design for high-voltage energy storage in an autonomous eVTOL program.
Lead architectural decisions, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with systems, mechanical, and test teams to ensure a safe, robust BMS.
Design key BMS components, including analog/digital electronics, power distribution, protection schemes, and PCBA layouts (Altium).
Develop requirements, statements of work for outsourcing, and contribute to design lifecycle planning to meet development milestones.
Support verification, integration, and testing activities, and document processes to support certification efforts (Gen 6).
Travel up to 25%, work onsite in Mountain View, and mentor junior engineers while solving complex safety-critical challenges.
