Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

An experienced estimator or quantity surveyor is sought for a construction company based in London, responsible for preparing quotations, managing project costs, and overseeing contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. The role involves analysing drawings and specifications, preparing tenders, and managing project budgets, valuations, and variations. The candidate should possess strong numerical and negotiation skills, be familiar with construction contracts, and be competent in using relevant software tools. Work primarily from home with occasional site visits for assessments, valuations, and meetings, with travel expenses reimbursed. A relevant qualification or practical experience in construction surveying or management is preferred, with opportunities to develop estimating and commercial systems.
