The role
A financial accountant is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, and taxation support within a group. The role involves supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, preparing consolidation workbooks, and assisting with audits and statutory accounts. Additionally, the accountant will reconcile balance sheets and cash flow reports, support VAT and corporation tax compliance, and work with external advisors and internal teams. The position requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong statutory reporting, audit, and taxation knowledge, ideally newly qualified ACA or ACCA. Collaboration across multiple teams and a focus on compliance are essential in this fast-paced environment.
