The role
The Communications Manager at Scottish Disability Sport is responsible for implementing the organisation's Communications Plan and enhancing visibility of its work. This role entails delivering targeted and engaging communications, influencing partnerships, and embedding inclusive practices in policy and strategy at multiple levels. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in media or public relations, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Technical skills should include familiarity with communication tools, social media management, and content creation. The position requires a proactive and strategic approach to promoting disability sport and supporting Para athletes in Scotland.
