The role
Lead research and development of deep learning architectures that fuse visual perception with sensorimotor control for contact-rich robotic manipulation.
Design algorithms to handle complex or deformable objects with high precision in dynamic environments.
Collaborate with software engineers to optimize and deploy prototypes on physical robotic hardware and in simulation.
Evaluate model performance across simulation and real-world settings to ensure robustness and reliability.
Publish findings in top robotics/AI venues and mentor junior researchers while shaping the manipulation roadmap.
Advise on techniques such as reinforcement or imitation learning, sim-to-real transfer, and edge deployment for industrial contexts.
