The role
The Application Support SharePoint Specialist is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise-wide applications, with a focus on SharePoint Online.
You will test, deploy, and support applications; maintain current support documentation for the Service Desk; and collaborate with project teams during rollouts and updates, including an on-call rotation.
You will respond to escalations from the Service Desk, resolve issues directly with customers, and provide training on proper usage of applications.
You will proactively monitor security, address potential vulnerabilities, and educate users on IT security best practices.
Qualifications include 2-5 years in application or technical support, 2+ years of hands-on SharePoint Online administration, 2+ years of Tableau analytics, and basic to intermediate SQL querying; experience with APIs/REST and data workflows is a plus.
Additional skills include scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell), familiarity with HIPAA/compliance frameworks, experience with eMAR systems, eFax, RingCentral administration, and proficiency with relevant IT ticketing and financial reporting tools.
