The role
Performs electrical power system modeling and analyses for data center facilities, including substations, co-located generation, and building design projects.
Develops and delivers studies such as short circuit, load flow, arc flash, dynamic/transient, harmonic, grounding, and interconnection analyses.
Creates models for utility interconnection processes (CMLD, PSLF, PSSE) and assists clients with load questionnaires and assumptions.
Maintains knowledge of applicable codes and standards, communicates with clients, and upholds ethical and professional practices.
May perform equipment, control system, and relay field testing, startup, and commissioning, as well as detailed design tasks (one-line diagrams, schematics, grounding, and wiring).
Collaborates across teams, manages scheduling and cost estimates, and pursues ongoing technical development through training and conferences.
