Senior Electrical and Mechanical Estimator

The Senior Electrical & Mechanical Estimator at Arcadis leads the development and delivery of accurate, risk-informed cost estimates for complex multidisciplinary projects across various sectors. This role involves creating and maintaining cost breakdown structures, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs, and ensuring estimates adhere to recognised standards such as CESMM4, ICMS2, and ICMS3. The estimator provides technical leadership during reviews, supports assurance activities, and mentors junior staff, contributing to continuous process improvement. Key duties include developing detailed estimates from concept to design, analysing contractor bids, and presenting outcomes to stakeholders. Candidates should have significant experience in estimating, a strong understanding of project controls, and membership of a professional body. Technical skills required include cost modelling, benchmarking, risk analysis, and proficiency in CostX and Power BI.
